A common staple in many B-movies, Zombies are often depicted as taking over the world. Having watched many of those movies I have decided to compile my own Zombie Survival Guide after reading the one at Kuro5hin.org. This guide will be posted in many places I know of so that if anyone comments I will be able to make a better one later. To date I have not read Max Brook's Zombie Survival Guide, though I intend to. As for the debate I've seen on the Fast Zombies vs. Slow Zombies, this guide is written with Slow Zombies in mind, for if they are really dead bodies they would have series body control issues, and under the assumption that the outbreak is a large one that would last several years at least.

Golden morning light filters through the rustling leaves damp with dew, slowly brightening the forest. In a glen full of flowers covered in dew, deep within the forest, a most unusual creature was stirring. With a pleasant pink glow, the pixie rose from its bed of flowers; stretching, it stands and begins to dance.
No bigger than a mouse it floats in the air, dancing from flower to flower with a grace not of this world. Like a butterfly it flits through the air in a pattern that is random but never repeating, it's wings a blur of pale pink. With a quick grace it lands upon each flower, splashing dew into the air, in a dance that is as beautiful as it is alien.
Suddenly the dance stops, and the pixie falls silent, pointed ears twitching, hoping she hadn't heard what she thought she did. Suddenly the flowers to the left shake as what she feared passed through. With bounding leaps a giant toad came closer and closer to the tiny
